The article that the statement came from looed at the case of the German cannibal, Armin Meiwes. Meiwes advertised onine for a partner who would be prepared to have parts of his body eaten and then be killed. He was messaged by hundreds of people who were prepared to be eaten and then killed. Why would anyone allowed their penis to be removed, fried and then eaten infront of them, while they were still alive? The answer appears to be that both the 'victim' and perpetrator wre prepared to do anything in order to attain the perfect 'pleasure' situation..................

What are your thoughts about pleasure? Do you believe, as the statament says, that the actual act brings far less pleasure than the anticipation of it or the subsequent thoughts about what has happened. Would you do anything in order to gain your own pleasure?

I am more for pleasure when I know that there won't be any pain afterward. I just hating paying the price for Pleasure that packs up and leaves it's twin "Pain" in place.

yes..its usualy in the shape of 12 cans of strong cider and a carton of chips pie and curry sauce..

Personally, I have found that most fantasy type things...are better left that way..somehow reality never measures up to my imagination..

Though in many ways I am quite the hedonist...lol..I would not go anywhere, or do anything for pleasure..but, I have pushed the envelope and stepped outside of my comfort zone to try some things at least once..

The pain/pleasure thing is quite fascinating, and there is a fine line for some..I read recently that phernomes/chemicals are released during some sexual pain, and that's why it doesn't actually hurt..not in the " this is awful" way..but, that feels good way...

I'm also convinced there is some psychology involved in most out of the box , or kinky pleasures..some of it harmless, some of it..maybe not so...like the case you cite...I doubt I would risk death ( asphyxia for example too) to feel great pleasure...there are plenty of less final ways...lol..

I'll bet most of them thought it was a send up and were playing along (or thought they were), or at the most that it was going to be some sort of fantasy role play sort of thing.
