It is definitely not you Zangie. The pervs & weirdos outnumber the decent dateable men. At one time I had serious intentions of finding a partner. I was inundated with creeps. I changed my profile numerous times & still got undateable weirdos. I gave up & started chatting in the forums, I got banned for life, so I made up several profiles with different pics & it didn't matter if I was dressed like a nun or a slut I still got weirdos/pervs/creeps. I'm sure there are some great men on POF but it just isn't worth the time it takes to sort thru the crap.
When you think about it, employees are a good representation of the company. If you walked in a POF office to sign up for their dating service & cowboy & Trapped greeted you, would you stick around to fill in their forms? I know I wouldn't!

Men do have similar problems on there you know.

I only ever got messaged by women who seemed to have unrealistically high opinions of themselves or were complete mingers.

I'm willing to admit that because I find it hard to be mean or rude, even if i'm not interested, my willingess to reply probably encourages them..I know several have been grateful for the sympathy/understanding...but, that's an aspect of myself I find very positive and don't wish to change it, so I guess I deal with the fall out it entails...

Actually, I think the bigger problem is men who are fickle. or don't know what they want and are erratic with their communication, etc...

The sheer quantity of people on any dating site ensures you are going to have to deal with many more damaged/creepy/jerky people than you ever would in real life..I think that's why it gets overwhelming, and so many just give up...

I have phases..I'm into it for awhile, then I take a break when it gets where I start having more negative than positive feelings about the experience...

Starting to think it will never offer what I'm looking for though...

But, I prefer to start off gently.

My idea of the perfect football game is Tebow, or either Manning playing, I positioned the couch so I can still watch, while being bent over and slammed. TOUCH DOWN! (oh and eating wings too).

Restless, I realize men have the same problems. I have heard some horror stories from my guy friends about the women they have met on line. Personally, I do better in real life, Internet dating no longer interests me.

mmmmm...i once posted a false pic., on pof...it was an april 1 thing, my friends were aware of it...
i used a pic., i found on google...(page 200 and something of "blondes")...
she was big, blonde, busty and "worked"...(i found out later on the pic., was of a russian hooker)...
the profile was only up for a couple of hours...
i received about 40 msgs., from eager men...
even a couple from guys who had messaged me in the past saying..."hi, just love your new pic"...
wtf?...
(maybe i look like a russian hooker also)...

well I hate to break it to you Zangie, 99% of women on any dating site, of any age, any color, any height, at one time has been solicited by freaks, pervs, whacks jobs, penises with ears you name it,. It's not about YOU, it's about the fact that some guys just want to get laid and contacts EVERYONE. The logic is that the more people they solicit , the more likely it is that one will say yes.

Men get it too, I cant begin to tell you how many whack jobs, freaks and just plan whacko's emailed me in the past, including marriage proposals( after one conversation with them) I met one lady twice and she was asking who my best man would be? WTF?? Yep I was gone like inbred Hillbillies front teeth.
