Problem signing in - Resolved

Postby ItsMargo » 02 Sep 2010, 15:06

I was refused entry today. Thought it was something I said. Nope. the log in changed.

I've always used my email addy to sign in but today the system denied access and insisted on the actual user name rather than the email addy.

Just posting to let anyone else who experiences this know - and also to let Admin know it's resolved.

Yeah, well, yeah.

At the time I set it up to automatically log in, one could use either email addy or username.

I couldn't remember if I had used caps or done all lower case or what? on my user name (plus I changed it shortly after I joined) and didn't know if the site was case sensitive...

So, rather than get it wrong... or invest, y'know, the annoying nanno second it would have taken to actually check... I just used my email addy.

Occasionally I prove I am an idjet.

*sigh* Never explain.
