Does admin have any control over the ads?

Specifically the ad in the "Memoriam" thread in creative writing & poetry. It's a coffin ad.
I realize it's a gooogle ad, but it's in bad taste. We are there to write about our loved ones
passing on. The last thing we need to see is a casket during that time.

Maybe the "In Memorium" can be edited out and it can just be the "Shed a Tear" thread. Then we can just get ads for anti-depressants. ;)

No, Admin does not have any control over the advertisements on this site.
The google ads target the user. So if the topic is about flowers the inter flora add would pop up and so on.
The only way to combat this type of advert is to use the suggestion from Choosejoy.
Would you like me to change the title slightly?.

Just run an ad blocker through your browser.

You won't see any ads at all on here then.
