Well, ty mahogony...I feel less singled out..though I do agree...I think many men , regardless of their preferences, play the numbers game..I just thought that maybe, this being a specialized preference..I was somehow drawing them?

I usually can can nicely deflect by saying I'm more like them than opposite them in that situation?...lol..

Zangie, It can be frustrating for people who are actually looking to meet someone, but like everything else in life it attracts the whack jobs, wingnuts, freaks you name it

You just have to stock up on the chapstick and be prepared to kiss a lot of frogs

Lately, though it's happened in the past, I seem to be attracting a lot of seriously sub/crossdressing/cockcolding types...which..to each their own..

However, I keep rereading my profiles and looking at my pics and wondering if there is something there that makes them think I am the dominant type...which for anyone who knows me is so far in left field it's funny..

Do you think they are just playing the odds thing, or could I be giving that impression somehow?

And yes, I'm prepared for the smart a** answers..

It's Sunday, and my mind turns to idle thoughts...

You are in control about who you attract.
That is not the most important thing though if you use what you need to use from what is provided. The most important thing is how you project yourself.

I attracted an interesting spectrum of men who replied to my profile.
Mostly, I attracted the decent good (with a sprinkling of bad.. ;) men who had self-confidence and the ability to have a decent conversation with a woman.....and with them had some great dates with some great men.
Then...there were the sex-maniacs, liars and delusional, the self-pity parties...and the control freaks mixed in there....not many, though.
I weeded them out.

I've attracted a wide range of weirdos and a sprinkling of nice normal and decent people. The most bizarre being a Greek Cypriot who was setting up an online casino site, said he was a spiritual medium and middle-aged women kept hitting on him, had auditioned for Britain's Got Talent singing Napolitana songs, appeared with a bluetooth headpiece permanently attached, and thought he was god's gift to women.

I was assasinated on POOF several times. (spelling mistakes are normal right?)
If I tell you this, will you guys kill me too?

I was an inbred bottom feeder, from an incestuous family, living in the big city, in a car, looking for a millionaire & my pic was remarkably unattractive. I wanted to meet someone with same car, so I could use spare parts. Boy, I rec'd mega lectures about rape and safety living in the car - get a real job lady - just a material person. Some texted with royal humour getting the joke, some others were totally offended, and reared up all their anger and other mental disorders, after relationship characteristics. What a blast.
I'm thinking about who I want to be next. I will never trust POOF, after assessing, never intended on meeting anyone. Zero Trust!
But what a wonderful fun game.

POFU seems like it may have potential meeting people. Gee it will be nice to have global girlfriends.

Why worry about who one attracts... it's who one keeps that's usually the issue, isn't it?

I know, on poof I'd say good morning or good night not knowing when they'd read their mail, here I have to say it in real time. Fun, huh?
