The Atkins diet can & will work for everyone, the key is to find the right exercise. Eating certain combinations of foods do numerous things to assist in weight loss, but exercising will keep the weight off. When dieting you learn to eat less & you learn to change your eating habits. If it is a good diet plan you will also learn to eat healthier foods. I say Atkins is one of the better diet plans when combined with a good exercise program. That does not mean you have to become a gym rat either. Most people can maintain their weight loss by simply brisk walking every day. Some need to do a full body work out, some can keep off the extra weight by doing yoga. The key is to find the right work out program for your life style, your body, your metabolism & your desired outcome. You can also do internal body flushes & loose up to ten pounds within a week & keep it off by doing the flushes once a month.
As you get older being a touch over weight is much better than being skinny. Skinny people have more wrinkles, a fuller face always looks less wrinkled. Something to think about when trying to loose weight. Skinny & old are not a good combination.
