Is this the last taboo...?

I realise that by posting this,
I am admitting that I'm 'home alone' on a Saturday Night,
and that I should be waiting......... until long after the pubs have closed,

so that I can pretend that my life is one long, mad, social whirl........
But it isn't.....

Hardly anyone ever posts on a Saturday night,

but I bet there's more lurkers than usual.....

Well! It's Saturday morn for me but ... even on Saturday nights I have been on my own, at home for freakin decades! lol
With very rare exceptions. I like my own company, it's that or shoot myself after THAT many decades,

It grows on ya, like mold
No need to play a game to hide it
or be embarrassed.
It is what it is.

I'm here...

House to my own... Ex wife away playing elevators wi her boyfriend who is an anaesthetist and looks down his nose at us mere humblies who aren't working ATM (though I'm just on the verge of self employment..Who's the stupid kent then)... Daughter is at a party and a sleep over...

Playing about here, whilst building website and designing and making reproduction WWII ration boxes.. geek...

Why ain't I at the pub?...Just seen a couple of bits of fluff walk by going on their nite out in local pub, big fat legs wrapped in black legging...No thanks, and there's the talk of the football... Think I'd rather stay in and move my willie about until the brasso appears ...

oh fukc all of that... im quite happy to admit im an anti-social billy no mates and the last thing i want to do is go out on any night. i spend all day listening to people, why would i want that in my private life... having dated a zillion blokes off pof, i now accept my singledom with relish

ill go one further as well... at the moment i have no music/tv/radio on either... i love the silence... sometimes noise irritates the shyte out of me and occasionally i dont answer the phone either..

both my children spent the night/morning here and i did have a friend around this afternoon, and chatted to my sister earlir on.... so i am not a total recluse... but when i write about buying my own mountain... im not joking... i love myself far too much to share

Oh, hell ... It's only 1:35 pm here in Colorado!
I have all day to prep my fat legs for encasement in tight leggings. Then it's off to the local watering hole for happy hour and a quick piece. Gives me time to tidy up before reporting for the late shift at another bar. Hey, that covers dinner and breakfast! A girl's gotta eat to keep her leggings full!

What night it is hardly matters to me at all. Lots of times I have to stop and really think what day/night of the week it is.
Live alone. Retired. and... Who gives a sh*t it's a weekend... same as a weekday to me.

Welcome to the Amateur Misanthropic Society annual meeting!

Evening chaps and chapesses. Today was mt daughters 10th birthday party. Took 6 of em to see the latest Twilight movie then out for food at Frankie and Bennys. Had the worst service I have ever had which culminated in a row with the stupid stuck up b*tch of a manageress. Still, made me feel a whoooooooole heap of a lot better at the end of it. And I think noone in there was in any doubt as to what the problem was.
Now got 3 of em for a girlie sleepover. I think I may have a glass of wine
