I'm happy because the BP oil spill has been contained & hurricane season is over. Now we can take the boat out & cruise from New Orleans through the Gulf to Florida, Key West maybe or ???????????????? some little deserted island where no one knows our name?????????

I am happy today because I don't have to work tonight.

I had an excellent conversation with a client about the power of words, the impact of the politically correct social conditioning on communication skills and research, the Socratic method.

And I went out to lunch with a friend.

And I am sitting here next to my honey, which is always a pleasure, while is snoring away. If I want to touch him, all I have to do is reach over and caress his back and kiss him on the head.

And I am booked solid tomorrow for work.

I'm going out drinking with about 16 men tonight who are my virtual friends from my hockey board. Some have come as far away as Texas and they are having a game tomorrow. I won't be playing (I'm that pathetic) but my daughter is, she oughta knock one in particular on his azz cuz he keeps threatening to change her user name to 'stonehands'

oh, in addition to being excited to meet some people I've only chatted with on line and catch up with others I've met before, I'm ALSO really happy cuz my sweetie is about to meet some people who are quite special to me. The one special fella who is about to get dumped on his azz tomorrow is numero uno on that list.
