Dear Diary,

About a year and a half ago I became friends with a woman on the forums who lives in Texas. I had always enjoyed her posts and it was she that pointed me to this site even though she doesn't post here anymore. :( Anyway her daughter decided to go to college here and let me tell you what an absolutely delightful young woman she is! We had an evening picnic in the park and played frisbee free for all...then a discussion on the paranormal and religion. How nice it was to have a civil discussion on religion (she is a devout Christian) and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed her razzing the he11 out of my significant other...her and my daughter ganged up on him a couple of times. My son says he is going to marry her.

I am glad to be here to allay her mother's fears in being in a different state...but somehow I ended up doing her laundry and agreeing to give her free massages :?

This girl has charm I tell ya!

It is a nice reminder that we really never know where the connections with people we make on-line will end up...I know that I have had several surprises during my time on-line, most of them pleasant. :D

The only rain on my sunshine today is that they didn't have a new episode of True Blood on tonight, it turned out to be a re-run. I guess they have this thing where if it is the last two episodes, they skip a week in order to keep you anticipating.
I am a member of this site, just like you are.

Dear diary

Anyone on hear interpret dreams?... I had the weirdest of dreams.....One following on from the other...

One involved shells coming from a hug gun emplacement, ye know, one of them coastal batteries, and the other our "world island" which Hitler, Roosevelt, Churchill and Stalin knew about, and I'm sure hasn't been missed on the present powers that be, though people on here seem to have missed it (thread about iraq etc)...

Anyway... Off to get put into nirvana, then wake up wi a bruised nose.... A nice walk in the country first...

Double Dog Dare,

Going on day three of daughter's birthday festivities. She is wearing this old woman out! She actually danced last night- odd for her. The band was great. My house is a disaster

DD

There are just times and days you have to ask yourself what have I become, what have I done, and how did I get this way?
