Dear Diary,

I am coming to the conclusion that being up before lunch time on a Saturday isn't natural.

Thanks for the hugs girls.

Dot,
You seem like a sweetheart. I think you will find a loving way to talk to this man. I hope the best for you.

I made the mistake of going back to a relationship recently. I told myself to step back, take some time, and let things go as they would. This is one of those relationships where give and take, compromise, and sacrifice has turned into giving away of myself and sacrificing the happy person I usually am. I am just not myself anymore. Everyone around me can see it.

If your date is truly a good man he will eventually come around and understand why things happened the way they did. Your intent is everything. Hugs Dot.

Dear Diary
Hugs to Lally, Cyst and Dot xx I hope life gets easier for you all soon.

Things are starting to go in the right direction for me too (slowly). Work is getting busier and I'm not feeling quite so bad about things

I even have a first meet (I won't say date yet) with a guy and so far there's been no e-mails from a wife or girlfriend lurking in the background  :shhh:
We might think a little differently, but we got a lot in common you and me, we're just like you..............................................only prettier!

dear diary,
the 'hurricane' the news could not stop talking about came through here last night...
and it turned out to be some windy rain only, which is still dripping a little...
I wouldn't even call it a 'tropical storm' that the news was starting to,
perhaps trying to elevate its position to keep people forewarned (or just tuning into the news) :shifty:
so, manny and hanna and any others living in its path, here on the Cape it turned out to be nothing to worry about...
hope it's the same for you.

Yes, here too. Lots of branches down but in my neighbourhood I only saw one small tree down and one power pole leaning. The power was only out for seven hours, and they were daylight hours. I haven't heard yet how the rest of the region fared, but it was just a strong wind storm here. There wasn't even much rain. Whew.

It's 1am and I'm cooking dinner, pasta actually. Dinner was sposed to be at a friend's house but after a couple of bottles of cheap Cava, some chocolate, Fox's biscuits and alot of laughter dinner was forgotten but walking home in the dark reminded me that I'm bloody starving. Oh it also reminded me that walking through the woods at 12.30 on my own with a dodgy torch can sometimes remind me that I need new batteries.

I had my dinner about the same time Swan....an enormous sandwich! Was called out last night (after 10hr work day) and went for a nap after work today, but woke later than planned, had no time then before meeting a friend. I've had a whole week of chasing my tail and doing everything in a rush rush rush, with too little time...what's going on, have the hours got shorter or something?

That sounds dodgy Swan...be careful! I'm always a bit nervous in the dark on my own, unless the dog's with me. Have never been able to decide, myself, whether using a torch is a good idea tho', as it must draw attention to you.

Had a fright tonight...getting out of the shower I grabbed a hairbrush, before even a towel, and thank goodness I was looking in the mirror at the time, as an enormous spider, must have been on the brush, and was on the top of my head!!!! Talk about an adrenalin rush! :( :o

Oh poor you lally, busy week for you then!

The cat brought a massive spider into my friend's house tonight ... why are people scared of spiders? It's always down to me to catch them and put them outside. Not sure I'd want one on my head though!!!! :o

The woods I walked through are out in the middle of nowhere and I know them like the back of my hand, I walk out at night alot Lally, I've done it for years. Stupid? Probably. I have the dog with me but she'd probably run away if anyone attacked me. Lolol. Having quite literally come face to face with a stag before I now know that having a torch can be helpful, but I often walk without it. Omg it was pitch black tonight though. No moon. No lights, no houses, nothing. Black. And they've let the poults out (baby pheasants) and all I could hear was the dog hurtling round flushing them out and I was thinking gawd don't kill it even if it is in the middle of the night.
