Teenage breast implants?????

Postby Belle Lass » 04 Aug 2010, 20:29

Just talked to a girl at lunch. Her mother remarried a well-to-do man and his 17 yr. old daughter wanted a boob job for her graduation present. She said she wanted to look good in her grad gown.
Apparently she is very slender (size two) and now has size 34 DD breasts.
What do you think of this?

The very fact that she knew that she could even get away with asking for such a thing tells me that she is already spoilt beyond all redemption, i would actively discourage my daughters from any kind of unnecessary surgery, and at 17 I'm not sure that kids are really sure what they want, I mean its not like she can trade them in towards a motorbike if she gets fed up with them is it? (well not in the conventional sense) ;)

Leaving aside the moral thoughts on this, won't boobs that size make her waaaaay out of proportion????
I remember growing up with boobs much bigger than the rest of me............much as I love em now, back then, a stiff wind would have blown me over!!

They would look out of proportion. In a Pamela Anderson way, I guess.
Anybody know what size hers was at their biggest? :D

My co-worker was asked yesterday if they really are that big and she said they looked like it but probably are 34D. She said they were bigger than hers and she wears a C cup.

Yes...I agree....at that age they don't really know what they want for life choices.
I would've told my daughter that it's something that she can pay for when she can afford it.

How sad. I think it shows just how teenagers have been brought up to think that nothing natural is good enough, that plastic surgery is the way to happiness and self fulfillment, that money buys peace of mind and self esteem, that if their bodies don't look like the actresses in films and magazines then they have to resort to surgery to be acceptable. How fvcking sad. And the saddest thing is I know loads of teenage girls who wish for the same thing here too, who think that fake boobs are how boobs are meant to look, that natural boobs are yukky and need fixing. Parental spoiling aside that child is setting herself up for a lifetime of disapointment because unlike her body most things in life can't be fixed with plastic surgery, including her mental stability.

Hahaha!

But then some would say that as our teenagers are the future generation to impact the world shouldn't we be worrying that their priorities are all about fake boobs?

While this sounds good, at first glance...snicker...I still think natural is better overall for everyone..and it does concern me that teenage girls are still having these body image problems..I was hoping we were changing that around a bit,.,especially since the mothers of these teenage girls know the pitfalls/angst that goes with it..everyone can't afford surgery to make oneself the "perfect " woman....and no know one should feel they have to...

If she had wanted a nose job I imagine most folks would be cheering her on.
