It's like this.
If you register ibakecakes.com with a domain registration site, they provide the resources to "point" a browser to a specific server tied to that name when someone types it into their browser.
It takes 12 to 36 hours for the "pointer" thingie to travel around to all the different "pointer" thingies on all the different internet providers around the world (distance isn't a barrier here, you may be able to access but not your next door neighbour).
The name you register with the domain name service has a "lease" that lasts a year (on average, domains can be registered longer), ...when this lease is up, it should be renewed if the account is set up to auto-renew, if it isn't, or there is an error, ...the pointer thingies stop pointing, and the name "ibakecakes.com" will not exist on the net and fixing this may take 12 to 36 hours for it to be back online for everybody (while the pointer thingies travel to all the domain name servers used by various ISPs).
Domain name registration for the name "pofusers.com" expired yesterday.
Current status for the domain is: "clientHold"
