nice to have the site back up and running again. Just a note though...the last week, the site has been lagging. It is running slower than usual. Some pages are taking longer to open. Would appreciate it if you could look into this. I have checked my computer to make sure it's not my end. Everything else on my puter is running fine.

cheers and thanks

Yup .. what he said. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I couldn't get on either. 24 hours of peace 'n quiet of no Swanny is probably exactly what the site needed. I went and got a life for the day but never fear that temporary blip is over now.

Perhaps the site is gaining more traffic recently and the server can't handle the extra demand? I don't know what servers are being used here, but that could be a possibility.

The site is hosted, so it probably has to be dealt with above what the Admin can address. If you check the various and myriad analytic sites, there's been this much (and more) traffic in the past.

It seems like a caching issue or a memory leak, the Admin may be able to address the former, but the latter is something the site host has to look into.
