I heard the sound of him moaning when the first one appeared.
daamm yanks, no subtlety.

Manny, love the avatar. I had trouble with the smilies on explorer, seem to be fine on firefox. Don't know if that means anything at all. :confusion-shrug:

Yeah, thanks Joy. I also have explorer, but I'm not switching to another one just for smileys.

I sound like tripped and cowman telling people how to fix the forum layout.

hey, how come the smilies work in the quotes sometimes but sometimes show up in text?
why is that, Humph?

It all depends on how they're linked (BCC/HTML), where they're linked from and whether or not they can be rendered BCC code to HTML. :ugeek:

As for browser problems, ...if one insists on using IE for some reason, ...they can expect not to have as much functionality and ease of use as other browsers without some "informed" tinkering.

I use Firefox (Macs and on a LINUX - box ...the decade+ PC I'm posting from now) for most things, Opera for testing stuff and Safari (Macs no LINUX version exists) for a few things that it can do (straight "out of the box"/no plug ins needed) better than the other browsers. As for IE, ...I can't think of anything I would need it for, even if I was using a Windows machine, ...except maybe for testing malware
