Cocktails

It's about time we had some cocktail recipes so I will start:

Mojito
Six mint leaves
One lime quartered
Soda water
Crushed Ice
125ml Mojito mix (Bacardi do one)

Crush the mint leaves and three quarters of the lime in a mixing jug. Add a dash of soda water to the mix. Fill a glass with crushed ice and pour the Mojito mix in. Add the crushed mint, lime and soda. Top up with soda and garnish with the remining quarter of lime.

Add a straw and sit back and enjoy. YUMMY
We might think a little differently, but we got a lot in common you and me, we're just like you..............................................only prettier!

If you have ever been to New Orleans, while walking through the French Quarter you will see people eating slushes out of little plastic cups, this is one of the slushes they are most likely enjoying.

RUM SLUSH
1 pkg strawberry Kool Aid no sugar
1 qt water
2-12 oz cans orange juice unsweetened
3 cans water
2 large cans unsweetened pineapple juice
Fifth of White Rum
Diet 7-Up
Mix all ingredients, except 7-up, in a large container & freeze. Fill cup halfway then add 7-Up.

Laissez les bon temps rouler!

I generally use whatever liquor is almost empty, or doesn't sell well. You get the idea. If it turns out bad, I call it DILLIGAF shots and sell them for a dollar.

What's Cool Aid?

Does anyone know the recipe for a cocktail I had once, and loved? I think it had whisky and lime and angastora bitters and ginger beer??

I think it's called "Irish Ale Cocktail" ^^^^^

2 oz. Irish whiskey
3 lime wedges
3 oz. ginger beer

although it doesn't call for angostura bitters, you can add a pinch to taste.

HI, Lally. Cool Aid turns water into a cheap kid's drink, a packet of colored sugar, maybe fruit flavored, or maybe color implying flavor. Any coolaid
fan's know if green tastes different than red? I don't remember.

So does it taste lemon lime or just look yellow green? Citrus coming from the 7up?
