"You have specified an incorrect password. Please check your password and try again. If you continue to have problems please contact the Board Administrator"
Some sort of help forum might prove useful, or not? Depends on whether I'm even able to post this message. I don't know about others, but I have a devil of a time trying to login here.
I did register my user name, selected a password and have had nothing but problems ever since. I was able to login tonight, albeit for a brief moment, before I was again presented with the login page. This has occurred several times I might add. I'm almost always told that I've been successfully logged in, even to the point of seeing my name in the online users at the bottom of the page. But try to post, Poof, back to the login form.
It's apparent that the login form is case sensitive, I get the "You have specified an incorrect password" otherwise. Then, as if to add insult to injury, when I actually click on the Board Administrator link to report this problem. I'm soon greeted with a message from the
Mailer-Deamon@aol.com informing me that "The following addresses had permanent fatal errors."
I'll be the first to admit that I have little 'Geek' blood in my veins, but I have never experienced a problem remotely similar to this before. A short term solution has been to request a new password. Which only seems to work until the next time I try to post here.
If I'm able to post this tonight, it will only mean that I've requested yet another new password. If user error is involved, than please tell me the err of my ways. I am really interested in any solution that can be presented.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
